Bobs musical tastes and guitar playing quickly developed through various styles of music including rock, old blues, ragtime, jazz and folk as well as many other sub genres. He basically tried to learn something from everyone he could. After playing in a few bands around the Wirral and Liverpool area, Bob went to college to study music and soon found an understanding of music theory that helped develop his guitar skills even more. Bob left college with an Advanced Certificate in Jazz and Commercial Music and a H.N.C in Popular Music. For the past six years Bob has been teaching guitar and ukulele at Wirral Music Tuition, his patient and encouraging teaching style has been greatly appreciated by his students. Whether you’re a beginner or not Bob will tailor his lessons to your needs, taking what you want to learn as a starting point and developing each session from there. Bobs wants to promote a love for playing the guitar as well as the skills for doing so.
